 Mind Games is a Gaming Store with 14 years experience in selling Collectable card games, video games, and many other types of entertainment. We carry many products from Card Games, Board Games, Miniatures Games, RPG's, Video Games, DVD & Blu-ray Movies, and also a wide variety of  sports cards. We also carry all supplies for your gaming needs. So come on down, check us out and see what we have in store for you!!!

The Original Mind Games store was opened up on June 13th 1996 in Verona, NY on rte. 365 where Cannon pools is now presently. We started here with the help of Ned Kinney of Kinney's Kar Kare, without his help of renting us 500 sq. ft. next to Oneida Raceway and Hobbies we wouldn't be here today. The space offered us all we needed. We had a phone set up, showcases and a cash register left over from previous store, that we purchased. And the beginning came! 

With a nice sign out front and the 3 showcases, 3 shelves and some box's of Sports Cards, Nascar Cards, Magic the Gathering and Star Wars CCG's. We did it! We opened a store called MIND GAMES. With singles filling the cases and some Nascar Die cast to boot we started building a following of customers. But after 6 months, Cannon Pools bought the building and we were forced to move to Main St. Oneida across from the Red Apple with a 300 sq. foot location. Here is where we made ourselves known as the Pokémon craze started and our business boomed. We started hosting tournaments for Pokémon, and Magic the Gathering, We also stocked Games Workshop: Warhammer and Warhammer 40K. Then after we had the Beanie Baby Boom come and go we were out of space. Well lo and behold our store was completely flooded by an apartment toilet running all night, And we lost about 50% of our stock and were forced to move again. Well we got lucky this time we found a 1500 sq. ft. location at 169 Madison St., Now we had more space then we could fill and have all the room to game we needed.
